Product Overview
The CPLH612 is a rugged, solid-state 12V / 6A constant-potential, current-limited battery charger,
designed for reliable service in industrial, transport, emergency, and battery-backup applications.
Manufactured in Heidelberg West, Melbourne, it combines proven Bolec electronics with low RF noise and comprehensive protection.
Around fifteen years ago, Bolec offered two closely related 12V chargers:
CP612 (standard model) and CPLH612 (with low/high voltage alarms). The range has since been
rationalised and CPLH612 is now the current unified model.
The CPLH612 is fully compatible with legacy CP612 installations and can be used as a direct
replacement, while adding the benefit of low and high battery voltage alarm outputs.

- Battery Low Voltage — relay contact closes on falling voltage (below setpoint).
- Battery High Voltage — relay contact closes on rising voltage (above setpoint).
- Charger Fail — relay closes on loss of AC, DC output failure, or internal electronics fault.
- Boost charge: Boost terminal input increases the charge voltage (approx. +0.35V per cell); optional boost timer prevents prolonged boost.
- Protection: Short-circuit, reverse-polarity, over-current and reverse-power protection.
- Operating temperature: −10 °C to +70 °C.
- RF performance: Extremely low RF interference; suitable for critical communications and control sites.
- Alarm contact rating: Relay contacts rated 2A resistive at 240VAC.

Model Lineage & Compatibility
