45 mm electronic countdown timer for ISG12, ISG24, Powerite BCT2 and BCT2S applications
The DCT24ENC provides similar functions to the ISG12 & ISG24, with all timing carried out electronically. Its 44.7 × 44.7 mm front suits a standard 45 mm square panel cut-out and is designed as a direct panel-size replacement for Powerite BCT2 and BCT2S timers in compatible 12V installations.
A bright OLED display, simple rotary-dial control and volt-free changeover relay contacts provide reliable timed control for pumps, fans, lighting and other equipment operating for a preset period of up to 24 hours.- Fully electronic countdown control
- Hours-and-minutes countdown
- Single-dial operation
- Volt-free C / NO / NC output
- Direct panel-size replacement for Powerite BCT2 / BCT2S
Simple electronic timing without mechanical wind-up operation
Set the required hours and minutes, start the countdown and let the relay control the connected circuit until time expires.Clear OLED display
Bright time readout for easy operation, with automatic display dimming after approximately 10 seconds.Quick repeat use
After the countdown finishes, the timer returns to the last selected time for the next cycle.Changeover relay contacts
Volt-free common, normally open and normally closed contacts suit a range of control circuits.Adjust while running
The selected time can be changed during an active countdown without interrupting the relay output.External backup support
An external backup supply can retain the remaining countdown time if the main supply is interrupted.Set and start the countdown in four steps
- Wake the displayPush the rotary dial if the display is dimmed.
- Set the hoursTurn the dial to select the hours, then press to confirm.
- Set the minutesTurn the dial to select the minutes, then press again to confirm.
- Start the timerPress and hold the dial for approximately one second.

Powerite BCT2 / BCT2S and standard 45 mm panel opening
The comparison below shows the DCT24ENC rotary model, the DCT24PB push-button model and a Powerite BCT2S timer, together with the standard 45 mm square panel fitting dimensions.
Control 240V loads through an external relay
The DCT24ENC does not switch 240VAC directly. Its 1 A / 30 VDC volt-free output can energise the coil of a suitably rated external relay or contactor, which then switches the mains-powered load.- Use the DCT24ENC COM–NO output to control the external relay coil.
- Fit a back-EMF protection diode across a DC relay coil to protect the timer from voltage spikes.
- Suitable applications can include timed fans, lights, heaters, compressors and pump-control circuits.
All 240V wiring must be completed by a licensed electrician.
